CoMo-CAL — Advocates For You

CoMO-CAL played a significant role in helping defeat Proposition 90 and later Proposition 98.  We were the first to alert other advocates of both propositions.  We were one of the first groups to align with a coalition of mobilehome owners and apartment residents.

CoMO-CAL received over $2000 in donations - these monies when towards educating mobilehome owners around California of the consequences of both initiatives.  We sent out over 10,000 fliers and over 2500 letters.  We also sent numerous ALERTS to about 1000 email addresses.

We are proud of our accomplishments with regard to the defeat of Proposition 90 and 98, and the passage of Proposition 99.

We will continue as a participant in the alliances formed to help defeat these initiatives.
